Thanks for the above link. You scrubbed it, like a BOSS!

Kudos.

Bro fishbonez, I assume you dry sand the bonnet with the das6 right? Is that also why finer grit sand paper was used? 4000 grit should have felt like A4 paper texture. Wouldn't P40 and velvet or perhaps denim pad on a RB achieve similar results? Just curious on the multiple steps.

Really miss your works here Fishbonez... Wondering where have you been to. Really nice and looked like it really took a lot of time and effort to include correcting the glass and the bubbling of the clearcoat. nevertheless an epic detail.

And I love your wide array of products as usual!

Hi bro eohl79, it's actually wet sanded as you can see form the sequence of photos, I sprayed shampoo solution on to the paint(red coloured liquid in the sprayer bottle) and then sanded twice with each grit. 4000 grit doesn't feel like A4 paper texture actually, it should, but somehow Mirka's Abralon discs doesn't feel like normal sandpapers. Because it lets liquid seep through it, it's like a weave with tiny spaces between the abrasives.

Yeah the steps are a bit repetitive. I could have went from 4000 grit to white wool pad, or just do more passes with the velvet pad(I did not have denim pads). You could say it's more for glamour, more steps = more complication = more perceived 'pro-ness', hahaha.

Thanks bro Veloc! How's detailing on your side been?

Good stuff man!!

Btw Ken, was just wondering, which process removed more defects?

1. Abralon 2000 , or
2. OSREN P40 with Velvet?

From my past experience Abralon is very mild. I don't get the haziness or the flatness of a #1500 or #2000 wet sanding paper.

Hey Fishy!!! Amazing job on the Kelisa (is that a name of a fish as well???). Great to have you back young man!

wow! your lens must be cost you some bucks! nice turnout!

Thanks bro! Noler, just using a Rm300 50mm prime + RM400 Macro extension tube, can't afford those real macro lens, so this will have to do for now, hehehe.

amazing stuff man... never fails to impress... stay awesome :)

Thanks Satish!
