i had a hunch, touched one wire that goes to the fuel pump and that wire felt kinda panas.

what could be the main cause? had a mech the fuel pump changed and did not supervise the installation, which i usually wud rather do myself.

was afraid it could melt something under there (external fuel pump).
and does it have something to do with the car dies every 5 minutes of idle?

gotta get pics later.

when ever a wire get hot (hotter than usual) , there is only 2 main reason
1- it is shorted
2- it is overload

you need to get it fix before small shorting become major one...

from my experience...bad wire connection...or loose somewhere on electrical connection

true. Motor over load, or bad earth. Conventional current flow (current flow from pos to neg), hence flowing from pos but not enough or too much (shorting) return to earth (negative).

but usually its gets warm. It should be as warm as your igniton power supply.
