Hello all, my car battery went dead this morning. Currenty using ns40 wet cell, just wanna ask u guys,i'm wondering if i can use the ns60 battery at my car.cause a friend of mine got a unused NS60 battery and still new. he offered me the battery. But im not sure if i can use it at myvi,in terms of the + - terminal and the tapak..and also the alternator can support the NS60 battery?

Cheers!

If i'm not mistaken (if I remember actually), Myvi uses NS40 not NS40L, so as long as your NS60 is the same direction, (left right the same) you can use. But to fit the NS60 you need to cut the battery tray otherwise it won't sit properly in the battery tray.

Due to NS60 is a bigger battery compared to the NS40 that was fitted on the Myvi, so the base of the batter holder won't fit...but afaik, it can be easily custom made ;)

thanks to all taikor for the reply
yup need to modify the tapak

for the time being i haven't look at my friend's NS60 batt..afraid that the + - on different side, will take a look on it..
