Evo 3 moderate mods !!

Guys ! need help here .. gonna mode a evo3 , but dunno what to do ..budget is around RM5K. let me tell what are the mods I have right now ..

- S/S Intercooler piping
- Custom banana kit
- Works adjustable cam pulleys
- D&D Dual layer aluminium radiator
- 3" exhaust piping
- Turbosmart 38mm wastegate
- Greddy E-Manage(Mutiara Motors)

others are all standard. Need help from evo3 sifus ..targeted HP is around 350. please tell me if there's anything wrong with my current mods as well. All comments are appreciated..thanks :biggrin:

hey Hadi, u should look for higher degree Camshafts for higher RPM and higher peak power, electronic Boost controller and actuator
 
bigger siput+bigger injector+e manage+any boost controller...


then those combo should be enough...

else...u can ditch the bigger siput plan and go for wilder cam+above combo...

thanks ! I have some questions regarding this camshaft .. if higher degree camshaft means more power is it ? hehe ..sori me noob :biggrin: just starting to learn
 
yes higher degree give more power. yeah. u should try 280 deg. sure the sound syiokk oh.hehhe.nvm for light mod ok also bro. hks cam 280, banana , wastegate , stainles steel piping. (all 3inch piping from back turbo untill exhaust).and if got money try find new standalone managment and boost controller. =)

higher degree yep higher power...


but also move the powerband at higher rpm...


letsay if stock u will feel the highest G-pull at 3k rpm till 5k rpm...


if high degree cam can be from 4k rpm till 6k rpm....or higher from 5k rpm till 7k rpm.....but with much higher G-pull....

nope..u cant change the powerband setting.....powerband is hardware related....higher cam,bigger turbo,bigger intercooler all those would move powerband up and reduce responds at low speed....so choose wisely....


don't get confused with "wideband" tuning...that for reading air-fuel ratio...

Bro !! If siput all tukar then original evo 3 piston can tahan the boost ah ? Or should i change to forged pistons or something ??!! Pls help :bawling:
