This was what I was told during the Safety Campaign Demo. There is no easy trick to escape. It may involve some hard work, especially when you are panicking and trapped in an unfamiliar car.
First, remain calm and *listen*. Try to find out who are your kidnappers (ethnicity, language they are using, number of persons, men/women, etc.), and if you can determine where you are (highway, background noise, city/kampung, etc).
If you left alone in the car, you can try to kick out the back seat as some cars allow back seats to be folded down. You can even try to kick out the rear dashboard (where the rear speakers are mounted).
Other options:
- Find the trunk release or its release cable
- Push out the rear lights, and stick out your arm and wave like mad to attract attention from other road users
