Some ppl say is cuz of the weather too hot so the burning started. I said bullshit, is always them who start burning to have better soil for their plantations and etcs. Bloody country just do us more harm than good.

Mentioned many times is the gov's rules problem, there are no such rules :stupid: .
2nd is they are not all Indons only.

I haven't gone out yet today. Later around 2pm I will go out. After reading what you posted, now I'm expecting the worst. Need to get a mask just in case.

Probably have not reached Ipoh. Like last time started from south. Malacca yesterday reported bad, so now is KL. If does not rain then Ipoh will be next....:banghead:

Hi bros, FYI the burning was done by companies which mostly owned by Malaysians too!
Sure, Indonesia gov sucks (welcome to my world!), but people from other countries also take advantage of that! So I guess what goes around comes around too ya.

Yeah, Malaysian companies 'smart'.
But seriously, why not just enforce a law?

Seriously not many governments and commercial entities in the world care about environmental protection. Going green means higher cost for them and loss of profit.

Politician meets businessman = corruption (P+B=C). If Indonesia and Malaysia really care, these two countries should stop crap talks and start enforcing strict laws to stop burning of forest and peat lands. Not bow down to big corporations' money/FDI seduction.

According to Green Peace, Indonesia is the world's 3rd largest emitter of greenhouse gases. GP is campaigning for zero deforestation there by 2015. But look like their effort is going in vain looking at what has been happening all these years. Godspeed!

Already reached Kampar yesterday. Can already smell the smoke when I go outdoors. :banghead:

Is call all talk but no go. Can't walk the talk. Giving false hope to the people.

Owners but I doubt they run it.....:smokin:

If you ask the owner, he would say "Oh we are a responsible business. I have never burned a single piece of paper in my office let alone the whole damn forest. There must be some lazyass workers cutting corners and set the blaze. Trust me!" If things get really heated, some poor chaps working in the plantation would be put on the table as sacrifice. The boss continues to light his cigar with his business partners in his palace office overlooking the magnificent Putrajaya lake. Just presume.
