Evo 9 can't get under 100k for now... Evo 8 is quite close to Evo 9's performance already though... Impreza V9 also can't get under 100k. Version 10 hatchback is too expensive. Need over RM150k to RM200k. That kind of price you can get BNR34 Skyline GT-R already.

i dont know about you guys the experts, but i say ver10 is just simply hot for a hatchback, but yeahh is to expansive. any reason why evo's are prone to the theft??. any chances of evo 9 or ver 9 price reduction next year??

So the parts for Evo can be compatible with quite number of cars especially Proton cars and you know that Proton to Evo conversion is a very popular thing over here. Which leads to a higher demand of Evo spare parts than Impreza.

you got a point there, i just realize the old proton is the rebadge of mitsubishi car, correct me if im wrong. I hope Ver 9 price reduce by next year, haha which is impossible. if Ver 8, i like the S203. looks good though, but still expansive. well is rare monster.

Even the new Inspira is a rebadge of Lancer like Saga and Wira. :biggrin:

But only 4G63T engine in Evo 1,2,3 can be fitted to older Mitsubishi based Proton cars. Probably because R35 is like a budget supercar which is cheaper than most other supercars and yet faster than most of them. Also because of R35's automatic transmission nature which made it open to a wider market of people unlike the older Skyline GT-R where only manual is available. But for R35 it's fuel consumption and maintenance cost is way higher than other japanese cars.

yeahh i shall check tht car out, but diesel engine wont last really long due to low quality diesel in Malaysia. my dad's Landy after 12 years need to overhaul. Along the way theres so many thngs need to change, all the money pergi to Landy. but other then tht, FC is really damn good.

Ya man 5.8L/100km is damn good. Not necessary la, there was once a debate that diesel cars have more problems, u can ask titanrev about maintaining diesel cars, he don't have much headache in maintaining his 4x4

After 12 years is probably time for most engines to overhaul haahahahaha.

Because of the demand foot their parts. Most parts are interchangeable between Mitsubishi cars.

Design is nice, but somehow to me it's beats the feeling of Subaru. No longer represents Subaru kind of feel. Is a form of signature it has in Subaru cars...one look it has the aggressiveness and u can feel that it is a Subaru. Like the new s206 Subaru WRX sti....one look is damn nice and that's the Subaru I know kind of feeling....

You mean the muscular JDM look that Impreza WRX STI had? I get what you mean. This new concept looks cool but the design is a bit sleek and futuristic which is more suitable for a european car than Subaru.

Ya lost the muscular shape and somehow the Subaru Signature...Something that represents Subaru..just lack of something...:hmmmm2:

The new concept somehow give me the impression it suits better as a Jaguar or Evolution.
The rear somehow represents Lexus instead.

So, I hope new subaru will not be in this design. Do maintain the originality of Subaru cars...:adore:

I think it will be based on the normal Impreza more than this.

Hmm I really like that concept Impreza design and I wish most of it will stay true till real production. Yeah it looks very different already from previous ones but since I don't really fancy the Impreza designs after the GC8 then I don't mind! :biggrin: And since I don't like Evo X design, then this new Impeza look may switch my preference from Evo to Impreza if it stays true. :)

Probably their design is getting sleeker and less aggressive to stay away from their 90s and street racer image maybe. Besides, they are not in the rally race anymore since 2008 I think. Still, I think that those aggressive aero/vent parts is what that makes a WRX STI looked like a STI. You know what I mean?

Just nothing beats that image till date...still attracts lots of people...
 
Sometimes, dramatic change from the legendary design is a move into the future. Many people vomited when EVO changed from VI to VII.. but I think it grows.. back then I felt the VII is ghastly. Today I feel its still ghastly, but the XI grew on me.

Just like how Mazda changed its styling dramatically using its "Stylish, Insightful, and Spirited design philosophy". I bet not many people remember the Mazda 626, or the 323.. cause the new Mazda 3 and 6 are so different in its outlook, like its an entire new car company.
