Best grip vs Price

If you drive like me and corner hard in every corner but drive slow in a straight line, probably last 1 year. If conservative maybe can push it 1.5 years.

Depends what car he drives too. Turbo, cut another few months......hahahahhahhaa:biggrin:

hye to all, at the moment i used back my bfgoodrich gforce sport2 50% left thread after a few weeks with bridgestone ecopia, haiss, new tyre already set me flying after setia alam tol on going to setia city mall. need an advice for below rm250 195/55/r15 for myvi. dont suggest me toyo t1r, i can get rm245 but the effiency is only the first 30% of the thread, then the side wall will makan. suggest me other than t1r,re001,re002. its okay taiwan or korea or any tyre brand as long its good with performance since i used my car daily to go for work. 12km only 1 way:driver:. hahaha

Bro. from BF Goodrich Sports Comp 2 to Ecopia is like going down 2 categories...ha! ha!
Since you like BF Goodrich why not continue with them?
With your budget can try Hankook V12Evo or GY F1D5. You may be able to source PS3 but most shops should be selling above your budget

Not sure about other brand, but I can comment on proxes T1R. As we know, it's ability to prevent aquaplaning is very good. But the side wall for me is too soft. On dry surface, if u inflate around 28-31psi, and take fast corner, the soft side wall give a very less feedback to your steering. Grip quite good, but u will only notice u start to under steer (for fwd car) when u hear the tyre screaming. If u inflate around 32-35psi, the feedback is better but the grip just a bit better than cheap/normal tyre. This is just my experience.

Yup, got same experience like you. Normal inflation, sidewall too soft. When pump 35psi, ride is horrid, damn bumpy.
Aquaplane resistance is good but grip is not too good as in my turbo wheel spin in the wet......:banghead:

too much boost

Standard engine of 0.6 only. And If quick take off from stationary in the wet, then yes it may slip, but it was on the highway, about to change lane, I think was at about 80kph then change to 3rd and step on accelerate to change lane, but the tyres just gave way and spin...:banghead:

You need Asy 2 already

Agree. T1R aquaplaning resistance is good. But wet traction not as good as my previous RE002.
