Why AE111 absorber can't fit to my AE92 body?

Pls allow me to ask a silly question here, i think most of u will know the solution.

I bought a pair of half cut AE111 absorber with the pillow mount and spring,

but my mech inform me that it's does not fit to my AE92 body..he say one nut can't be screw. pls help!

I think the most logical explanation is the kedai sell you wrong one. It may look similar but if wrong... it is JUST wrong.

I got from half-cut AE111 abs to go into AE111... and didn't fit!!! Lagi shocking :)

... but the simplest explanation is... its wrong set of abs.

if 101 is the same with 111 then should be fine ma
because i'm using 101 on my Se also

brother or boss...i found something very confusing problem..last month ago i buy a second hand coil spring name is eibach coil spring..when i install it the front coil spring gap is half of my finger...my car is LE but i convert my engine is 4age 16v..then ppl teach me modify the coil spring and now is one finger gap..then few day ago my friend have one set in front coil spring name is RSR but install it is one finger gap....pls help me to find a solution....thnaks

hey...regadiing the gap thing it is your springs stiffness and srpings contruction~

diff brand has driff stiffness and rates

i took the same set absorber, go to another workshop. as u guys said, it fit nicely. The pomen i think like a frog live in the same pond for so many years oledi.

But the problem now, the AE111 absorber stil very soft even the condition is like new. rear left hand side always kene tyre one. Dunno y, izzit because of two door AE111?

* shud listen to tctho, to get a new local AE101 Set absorber. sigh!*

maybe your absober already worn out already or coil spring wake....any way u try to change a new absorber....using a gas absorber....and try it

if u want to use aee111 can fit..but u hv to put the right side to the left side n the left side to the ride site.ae111 abit difrent to ae92 knuckle.bcz the pillow mount is abit difrent.

ae101 absober n spring abit difrent to LE body..ae101 body already set to lowerd.when u fit into LE ur car can see more lowerd..my frren bought my absober.at my car 2 finger.when he put at LE body his can only can fit 1 finger.maybe LE is short stroke consep.

i'm using 185x55x15. any problem with it?

it shud not the problem with the tyre, coz when i press at the back, u can feel it's very soft.

and when i press another Ae111 seg with original absorber, it's terrible hard!

NTH worn out, the pair AE111 haftcut absorber jus like new, the stock sticker on the item still new

bro gto_yap..... dis thing oredi happen 2 few of my fren who bought used abs from chop shop, actually d absorber will get defect or mulfunction coz its alwiz put at lay-down position instead of stand-up straight, dis position wil effect ur abs speciaaly dat oredi used 1, gas or oil type wil cameout slowly n worn d seal....... so better get new 1 :-)
