Hi I went to car modification and cant find the thread (look thru till page 69)...cause this is interesting and would look more on any diy methods to clean cylinder head...like steam clean or wut?? or just pour in n shake the whole thing......hehehehe...

decarbonizing lo if u mean to clean the combustion chamber...

the easier n simple way is to get it from zth seller directly if u not sure wat ingredient/chemical to use.

direct buy the ready made decarbonizer...they do offer FOC doing it for u

cheers

not decarb la bro...wat i mean is when do overhaul or top overhaul...after take out the head dismantle everything...just the head cylinder...how to clean all the dirt/dark inside cause of the engine oil...

cheers!!

combustion chamber is the space betwen piston n cylinder head....

start you car engine,
rev the engine how high is up to you...
then spary some mist of water at the carb intake...
do this for few times...your cyclinder head will be clean off carbon...

burnner u dont get it... i mean only cylinder head not combustion chamber...here`s example of the cylinder head pic...how make it clean from all the dark colour...

it's call gum deposit.usually from a cooked cylinder oil(this is what happen if
u guy's don't change the engine oil regularly as recomended by the manufacturer).
usually we scrape it off.i wonder whether the acid from paint remover can clear
it off?

Buy this thing:
http://avtodeli.enakupi.com/large_image.php?productid=16727

Spray it all over the black shits

Heavy duty degreaser, the ones they use for chemical wash for air con., and the same thing for engine bay wash! Just have to spray few time n let it soak for a while! and then rinse off with water!! Other then that they use paint thinner to scrub the grease of??
Thats all I can think of cause i dont have the chemical name of the top of my head!
Best of Luck!

i thought people usually jz use petrol and a brush to clean the head from dirt??...

This wut the mechanics in North America do! A basin with a steel brush hooked up to chemical! SO while u brushing the parts(cleaning) the chemical is sprayed thru the brush! Ya can try petrol, but it smells more like a paint thinner if want to b exact.....I dont record the chemical name but just remembered being told its very expensive! Hmm maybe acetone in a dilute form, something just erosive enuff to remove the clods.......other then that a brush with petrol= Happy Scrubbing!!
