Maids, Anime Figures, Otaku, Computers and TV Games - the regular sights while perusing along Chuo-dori in Akihabara. As well as being famous for being Tokyo’s “Electric Town”, the main street of Akihabara is also a great place to see some nice rides.
The humming of a V12 Ferrari cruising along at 4000rpm is a common occurrence, in addition to some heavily modded Japanese street cars. Oversized rims, ridiculously low ride height and enough neons to light up a small town are just some of the modifications the Japanese law enforcement allow to inhabit the streets of Japan.
Take this Series 2 S14 Silvia with an S15 front. The first thing that caught our eyes was the extremely unique front end of the car.
The front quarter all the way to the tip of the front bar was one single piece of fibreglass - opening forwards from the windscreen of the car. This, coupled with the two-tone metallic silver/orange speckled paint, proved a sure fire way to advertise this “Bali5″ (バリ5) company.
The car didn’t seem to be too mechanically modified in comparison to its exterior.
