Hello everyone,

Need advices for any of you who are using adjustable absorbers.

Have any of you experience using adjustable absorbers producing some "krok-krok" sound when sometimes going through some rough roads and pot holes.

I heard that we need to insert somekind of rubber to reduce the noise?

Do you have any ideas?

TQ

It might be the spring hit the absorber sound...
Water pipe.. will solve your case..
Put it at the spring will have no sound liao...
Good Luck..hehehe

May I know what is water pipe?

Where can I get it installed?

TQ

Izit new absorber? long time use oredi?

think it could be the rubber bushes.....after long using, wear and tear liow

They are new adjustable absorbers.
I've got them from speedworks.

Should i contact them for consulation?

should be your spring and abs not fit propely...

coilover adjustable is no need to put in water hose as the spring is fit and sit well with the absorber. just send to speedwork and ask them to check, suspected the sound is from top mount.

experience tells me the top mount rubber bearing spoiled (if you not using metal top mounting), it is time to change, should not be expensive.

talking about top mount, anyone got front abs top mount for e7.pls pm me.
need it.thanks.

any brand for the top rubber mount bearing wira 1.8 aeroback?
mine also krok-krok only at left side
any price referrence for the labour charges on both side including the spare parts?

just go to spare part shop to look for top mount, should be not a expensive item.

hey dreamsquall,

how's the sound from suspension sounds like...
does it sound when you are slowing down on the taman road with a lot of pot holes.

i don't hear the sound when driving fast on the highway.

most of the fully adjustable suspension with top-pillowball mount will create noise when hit bump or crossing at uneven road...its normal

since ur pillowball mount is no longer the rubber type, it will hv friction with ur car chassis...metal to metal...thus produces noise.the noise is kinds of 'Tak tak tak"....

ask who use adjustable like me, guess most of them oledi use to the sound...haha

or if u not sure, get back to speedwork for check..even if its fixed, the sound will appear again soon.....since urs is krok krok sound....maybe is ur ball joint or those bushes sound. i not sure.

good luck

my krokkrok sound only comes out when i'm slowing down like taman area then go tru pathholes or maybe little bump.
if on stable road like highway, no sound or anything
by the way, i;m still using ori wira 1.8 suspension and spring set
the top rubber mount already cracked but dunno why the krokkrok sound appear only from left
izzit ball joint or top mount bearing?

hmmm but there's no oil leaking at my suspension wor
and when i travel on highway, i still feel my suspension is comfort
only like when driving slow and go tru loopholes or patholes, got krokkrok sound, not heavy but light krokkrok

bro ur suspension kong ed.. try removing it and adjust the height to the max then try compressing it with your hand or something.. look at how it rebounds back.. slow then sure suspension kong ed lo

When you driving high speed you cant hear the sound because the wind sound and engine sound at high rev cover the sound d... low speed you can hear the sound cuz engine sound more quieter and no wind sound... i face exactly same problem with you after 1 week i install my spring... everything still new impossible my absorber or spring kong so i took my car to the tyre shop and have some check.. so now the problem fixed.. the problem is.. they didnt install your spring properly.. check all the bushing position with your spring.. both spring must place exactly the same way as the other place..until now 2 months d my rear spring doesn't give me anymore sound...
