My brake pad started to wear off and I'm currently considering which brake pad to use. Currently using TRD but i felt TRD wear off quite fast and produce lots of powder when hard braking.

Anyone reco. other brand?

What car do u drive? If normal n/a just use bendix metal king gold.. The metal king titanium is bendix's dust producer..heheh.. Metal king gold is okay.. But if u want performance, based on reading (not experience), use EBC greenstuff...

Nope..not yet..Hehe..my brother does... Driven his car hundreds of times but just found out that he's using MKG last week..heheh..

which braking system u all using?
got any lobang in twin port brake pad? hehe!!

erm..last bought it for my fren..the cheapest was FBK rm80..its same wif mr2 twinport..but bit dusty...performance...sure not good as bendix or other branded brand..but OK la..bendix metal king ask last time rm 250 for front twin port..GULP!...

u oredi using TRD, which is very good no matter single or twinpot. being performance pad, it will wear off faster & produce more dust. for similar range, perhaps you can try Project U (miu) or Endless. price should be around 300-500. lower specs starts from 350celcius way up to 800celcius (which will cost a bomb). N1 Sunway & Amoil Racing do keep stocks of these if you wanna check it out.

bro, th eendless brake pads will produce alot of dust huh? my self using bendix at rear but it produce a lot of dust. but amazingly, my front brake pad didnt produce so mush of dust. very minimum. any comment? front brake pad came along with halfcut last time.

next target shud be Bendix General CT titanium stripped. (below 200 can get i believe)... hahhaha

... happy braking

my experience that Bendix titanium reduces the life span of brake disc rotor significantly, compared with other brand brake pad

how about your one??

yes agree with u 100%, unless u upgrade the disc rotor, standard disk rotor cannot tahan the brake pad performance....

original toyota = ok but expensive
bendix metal king gold = cheap, good but discontinued
bendix metal king titanium = now using, cheap n very grip
AFI = good also but vy dusty
TRD = damn good damn grip but damn expensive
EBC = expensive than TRD but not grip as TRD

saya punya 2 sen...

if original toyota pad are expensive, will it last longer than the performance one. If yes, than sure worth the money what...

so is toyota brek pads chop TOYOTA?
