which is the reason why i have to sell my satria as well when i get back to malaysia end of the year

i went to see S15...think the first thing i do when i get the car is get a really really good alarm system...but with the way things are going, these fuckers can steal the car even if your car's armed with a really good alarm right?

a friend of mine, her car got stolen twice...just normal perdana and KIA..now she's got a triple lock system in her car....she lent the car to me for a week cuz i am "legless" now...after driving it for a week, i think it isn't very safe for me...let's say there's this mad man following me or something..by the time i open the door, get inside the car, unlock pedal lock, unlock the steering lock, and all that, i wouldn't be alive anymore!!

heh,,,so sad....i wanted to take my satria back to korea some day...and show them how to really modify the cars...cuz the koreans just started modify the engine...not very good...haih...so sad....went to their drag last year...heh funny funny *^^* nothing compared to msia drags i believe heh *^^* i told them wait till you see the msian cars....i told them loud and clear that i'll bring my satria over one day.....but now i can't say shit to them anymore haha

I guess the best security system for our car to date is the 'Mr Bean' alarm system. Take out the steering wheel & SOLEX lock the doors. :D

babe83, u're openly declaring "Please break in or steal my car!" with all those mods . Nice seats.. Apexi boost meter, new intercooler. Old intercooler in the rear seat, clothes, amplifier, head unit, ONE BIG CARTON of dunhill lights..

And bluetooth in car? Wtf.. Necessary? I know it's "cool" and all but it's just another break-in inviting item in your car.

If you really loved your car as you claimed, I'm sure you would have already considered all these facts before doing it, right? Cause you already know what's the consequences.


I tell you lah, if I'm the robber, I won't be seeing "What's new, what's old" .. All I'm seeing is a mountain of $$$$ in your car waiting to be ravaged.

I know u're a girl, a girl modder. And in the local car scene, u get pampering and face giving from everyone else, considering how rare girls are into the car thing.

So yeah, I won't be consoling you now just because u're a girl, but this is the truth.. You should have saw it coming. (yeah I know you said you did saw it coming, so you should be ready la I believe.) . You were practically inviting people to steal your car or break into it.. But considering all the treasures in your car, they rather steal car and later only slowly take one by one..

Although I can't deny I feel sorry for your loss.

So lesson learnt la.

Next time keep your car interior clean. Don't so smart place your old intercooler in your backseat.. Big carton of cigarettes around, clothes, etc.

Cause to the thieves, they won't see it as a "broken old dented" item.. To them, they will only think "This costs at least hundreds!" .

And truth be told, no alarm will save your car nowadays from car thefts. If they want in, they'll get in. Steering Locks, brake locks, whatever locks, alarms, 2, 3, 4, 5 way alarms are only just for your peace of mind. It won't guarantee your car's safety.

And please, for you girls carry a weapon around with you. GOOD, WORKING pepper spray at least. And BE SURE YOU KNOW how to use it, cause when u're under stress you may act different. I myself carry something around with me wherever I go these days, you can never be too cautious in this fucked up society.

And our government is only making things worse for all of us. I won't blame people for robbing nowadays la. Cost of living is killing.

aiyo, if you read my post properly, nothing is actually working properly in the car..which i think is the reason why nobody even bothered to steal the car for the last 6 yrs..

-my car's in 3 different colors(black head, white spoiler, body brown), i didn't paint the car for how many yrs already cuz i dun want my car to look nice! it's only the power and the torque that im interested in.

-my bucket seat has a big tear which is beyond repair..

-the intercooler is so badly damaged that i dun think anyone will buy it cuz sure the boost will leak..(but i agree with u, shouldn't have left it in the back seat..but it's too heavy and the intercooler's "spikey" -_-;)

- the bloody theives won't know that the mirror has a bluetooth installed in it cuz it's just a normal mirror..i doubt they'll know what it is till they actually see it..

- i dun think ppl will steal a car just for the baju -_-;

- all the amp and woofer is at the back, so they won't even know it's there till the open the boot.

i thnk those fuckers are now regretting stealing the car hahaha (quotes from my friends and my mechanic ^^;)

i ALWAYS jockey park in the hotels(dun get me wrong, im a translator so most of the meetings are in hotels),
i jockey park wherever i can find one when i go to shopping malls...if they aren't open, i'll pusing pusing in the car park till i find one in front of the entrance door, no fuck if im late for the movie heh

i have never posted anything on zth or other car forums boasting abt my ride (that was till the mad man threw the rock, actually my first post in 4 yrs since i joined zth, just wanted to warn you guys abt it).

i don't kacau anybody on the road, UNLESS they ask for it kaka

hmm, mayb it was inevitable, but you bet i've learn my lesson :( a sad and painful lesson. i dunno what i can do to prevent such a thing from happening again, but lesson well learnt! haih

What I was saying is, that thief/thieves must have been there.. Looking out already. Your car came along, parked there, you left.. And I am guessing, these bastards, they will stand around ur car, observe abit, look around, observe abit, walk past your car, once or twice, and then start doing their job.

In those few minutes (probably less than 2 minutes) , which I think is like 2 hours to them. They won't even notice how badly your car looked, or how badly things looked in your car. They'll probably just take into consideration how many items they'll get if they start work on your car.

So yeah the dumbfucks are probably slapping themselves for stealing ur car heheh.. But just for themselves, u have to go through these shit.

I guess you were just at the wrong place at the wrong time.. Bad, bad luck.

it doesn't help if i keep thinking, after 6 years of repaying my loan, im left with nothing.

the staffs at the petrol stations that i frequent, ask me "new car ar? mana satria?" my heart aches!

the security guards at my student's houses ask me "mana satria?" haha heart aches..

the guys at the toll gates ask "mana satria?", the jockey parking guys ask "mana satria" haha heart aches...

but im slowly getting over it, just wish the insurance would kau tim heh

the insurance guys asked me to call him after a month, REMIND him of my case..so i'll probably do that in 2 wks..but ill be in germany in july so im wondering how im gonna do that..
but cross my fingers! +_+ i'll inform you guys if there's anything +_+ i have the right to appeal if the insurance offer an atrocious sum right? +_+ but heard the appeal is a time consuming job...well, see how it goes :(

Get a good quality security tint....for example, LLumar. They come in several levels of protection depending on your budget. They are not easy to smash through.

Plus the recent price increases also have increase crime rates.

Anyway just to add bout korean modding. Was there back in Oct last year for an exhibition.

Met this reputable tuner.
According to my korean boss lah..
This is how they mod cars.
U pay USD100per horsie increase.
Which means if u wan ur ride to generate 10horsies more(at the crank la) u have to pay him USD1k.
Wat stuff and mod the tuner does is entirely up to him.
As long at the end of the day he delivers ur additional 10 horsies.
I went like huh?????? Like dat 1 ah??
And of course depends on the car's capabilities.
As if u can generate addtional 150horsies on a 4g93 na.

they will actually bring japanese tuners from japan and pay them hell lot of money to modify their cars +_+

and u know in msia we can get car parts quite easily, and with a reasonable price cuz we have this "potong kereta" shops right? but cuz this is considered illegal in korea, they actually buy their turbines from europe -_-; of course the price is a killer! hihi

I'm actually driving one at the moment. Not mine, but a borrowed unit while my daily is getting repaired.

I'm really at a loss trying to figure out what Hyundai was thinking when the built the thing. They gave it a very nice sleek looking body, pretty good suspension, but handicap it with an engine that is totally gutless. What a waste.

Those are nice pics btw. But the Hyundai Coupe is not altogether a popular car over here so we don't get to see many extensively-modified examples in Malalysia. Sorry to hear about your car. Hope you get the problem solved. Satrias are nice cars when properly done up. I lost my turbo virginity driving a freind's turbo Satria. Love the hit on the backside when the boost kicks in.

I still remember when i first got my car...my baby...6yrs ago...new.....
I remember when my auto gearbox pecah, i straightaway went to change it to manual..
I still remember when my 1.5 original engine pecah..straightaway tow the car to the workshop for the VR4 transplant.

I love my car so much.
I love driving, be it track or road.
So many memeries in each and every part of my car..

I still remember when my first VR4 engine pecah :(
So Sad, but upgraded to a better engine...
I still remember when my 2nd VR4 engine pecah....
Sad, but upgraded to a 4G67...rebore...bigger piston...
And when this engine pecah, got myself a EVO engine..try and see how it was.
So scared that it will pecah again, that i never modded anything!

So many breakdowns i had with this car, that i DARE say that i can diagnose the car like a mechanic~ hehehehehe

So many tire punctures, that i began to time myself, how long it would take me to change my tire ^^;

So many problems with so many parts of the car that i had practically changed every part of the car, be it the drive shaft, metal gasket, gearbox, radiator, radiator fan, air con, whatever.

So many road blocks i have ran into because of this car...

So many memories with each and every one of my friends...
All the precious friends that i had met, on the road, while driving...endless days of driving around, yum cha till dawn.
Had met so many friends, even my boyfriend, because of this car...with this car.

I remember when my car alarm went off on valentines day, in 1u car park...wearing dress and high heels, going under the seat, trying to find where the bloody alarm socket was.

Remember being stuck on the road so many times cuz of car problems..

Remember taking my car for the first time to track and feeling so damn happy! and euphoric!!

remember on the way down from cameron highlands in my car, almost got all my korean friends in jail cuz we didn't have our passports with us..

I remember racing up and down genting highlands with my friends...feel bored go up genting...drags in genting.....

I remember guys kacau on the road, racing with them, with my friends in the car...getting thumbs-up from them...whopping a lot of them(?) also? heh kena tapau by some of them also~ heh

I remember the joy when i first install my sound system..so happy, so proud....

I remember taking a friend of mine to Pantai hospital in the middle of the night for emergency, in my tiny car....

Countless number of precious memories with this car...that it's impossible to put down in words..

This is harder than breaking up with a boyfriend man...
Not only did they steal my car, they stole a part of me......
Normally im the type of person who would really, really easily forget about bad things quickly, but this is gonna hurt...and this is gonna last.;

All my friends told me to sell my car, but i vowed myself i wouldnt!!
