ECR33 comes with rb25 engine but R34 gtt has a better body?

Both ECR33 and ER34 have RB25 engines dude! Unless by miracle the ER34 comes with a lawnmower motor I suggest you get the ECR33! LOL. Just kidding. Get the ER34 since you like the shape and yes...it has a RB25 engine! And be careful, there's a N/A version and a turbo version.

Correct dude, ER34 GT-T(Turbo). Not very familiar with GTS... could be true. The rest of the sifu's might enlighten you on this matter. Look up Driftmeister! He's good!

ouch!

and all these while I thought that most grey importers are importing just the turbo version the GTT (based on demand).

i own one er34gtt and it is a great car i tell you bro.u wont regret about buying it.spare parts and tune up kits are more than the ecr33 bro

sorry azuma, ecr33s have a wider choice of mods compared to the NEOs.

Depends on the driver really. Some may be comfortable with the R33 and some with the R34. Any car with too much power would loose the handling. If it's regarding stock, I really don't know as I haven't driven a r33 before. Ask the rest of the boys, they might enlighten you on this matter. Just my 2 cents.

I've checked with my Japan tuner previously regarding mods and stuff and he said, there's no such thing as which model has more and which has less... as long as it's a nissan skyline from r32-34, they have it all.

Nissan Skyline R34 GT-T the last of its generation it looks are cross between the R33 and R32 a fabulous looking car. The interior was updated again to give the car a more modern feel. Improvements from the previous model included a much stiffer chassis to aid handling and a revision of the RB25DET now called the RB25DET NEO.

The new Neo engine has a considerable torque improvement; 343nm is now achieved at 3200rpm the previous nissan skyline had a maximum of 295NM at 4800RPM, outright power was also improved to 206kw. Changes to the engine included a new NEO head which contains solid lifters and revised variable valve timing A slightly larger exhaust housing on the turbo is used to improve flow, and the compressor wheel is now made of Nylon to reduce lag. A larger side mounted intercooler was also added and is efficient for levels up-to 200rwkw. Acceleration times remain similar to the nissan skyline R33 as it is a slightly heavier car.

I think every car have it`s own attraction and sure more latest/modern car would have more improvement but also more ELECTRONICS which sensitive and more hassle if problem occur.Sure scratch ur head till BotaK~

Honestly saying, spend what you're willing to pay and most of all the feeling of waking up in the morning to find your ideal ride in your driveway is heaven bliss.

If you like the R33 shape then go for it...there is always available mods depends how deep your pockets is. There are too many aftermarket parts to spoil you so just get the car that you like. All can achieve the handling or power goals you target. As long you are willing to maintain them well im sure you will enjoy your ride.

Hope you find your beauty soon...Cheers!

Yeah true driftmeister you are right, i feel the same to waking up in the morning to find my ride in the driveway really make me feel energetic for the day. Since i got the GTT my wife keep's on complaining that the GTT is like my mistress.... but what to do hahahahah :driver:

Actually, the R33 GTS are non-turbo RB25DEs while the turbo variant is R33 GTS-t with the RB25DETs. In fact, in Japan you can even buy R33 non-turbos with single cam 2.0 engines but I'm not sure what the specific model is called.

It's only the R34s that go by GTS and GTT to differentiate between the turbo and non-turbos. What is interesting as well is that an R32 GTS-4 was a turbo, running an RB20DET and 4WD (basically a baby GTR) while the R33 GTS-4 were non-turbo RB25DE with 4WD.

I've gone OT but oh well..

Bump: Oh btw, if you're looking at R33s do bear in mind that the Series I was launched in Sep '93 (IIRC) and the facelifted Series II sometime in '96.

The difference well, are the front lights of the newer R33 being more square, almost boxy around the edges. Also the newer R33s had a different rear spoiler among others - can't recall off the top of my head cause last I owned a 33 was when I first got license.

More importantly, the turbos are different as the newer R33s didn't take too well to boost - previously 1 bar was ok-ish but with the updated version 0.8 bar is abt as far as I would go. The newer R33s also had VVT but only on intake. Hmm.. also PowerFCs are different for the two models.
