the maintenance for proton perdana will only cost you rm2300 per year with every 5000km service interval and every 20,000km major service. average maintenance per month is only rm200 on average.
it is true and no bullshit coz many of my friends are driving V6 and no problem at all if they change their ATF on time and not sending to outside workshop.
those ppl are finding reasons to upgrade their vehicle with tax payers money by giving stupid reasons. sent to under cherry tree workshops and mark up the bills kau kau then claimed rm30k maintainance per year...all bullshit....common sense if u spent rm2k to rm3k per month to maintain a normal executive saloon, will u still drive it for 3-5years then only make stupid statement.....not forgettin national cars contributing to their success in many sectors and not honda or toyota.....these idiots really making statement plucking from the air.!!!
if an organization, with what we called improved in efficiency, integrity, honesty and commitment to the "rakyat" and keep accusing and dig ppl's past story and claiming they took bribery la, swindlers money la...etc....but now accepting the fact that maintaing a perdana cost rm30,000 per year...
where is the auditor, who send it to workshop, are those workshop authorized, anyone checked what parts have been changed, is there any proper quotation and approval before changing those parts and is all those documents justifiable..any second opinion over the job and who approve the payment and why nobody blow the whistle when it cost more than maintaining a mercedes benz....silly....silly ppl make silly statement but yet say take care of "rakyat" money and upkeep the integrity...bullshit....or cowshit! juz my 2cents...hope u guys don flame me ya...cheerz

Lately state governments are being slammed for purchasing mercs, camry's etc. They all say that maintenance of Perdana V6 so expansive. I just saw news this morning stating that a 5k km proton from proper proton is RM200+ and 20k km is 2000+. I am sure that Honda service is like ~RM120. Does anyone know how true their claim is. Maybe a side by side comparison can be made. Thanks
