Strengthen Engine Mounting or Engine Damper

I had broke the engine mounting for the 3rd times within 2 yrs as i had FI an NA ride
A workshop suggested change new engine mounting and add on a engine damper
B workshop suggested strengthen the engine mounting via silicon

What's the Pro and Con?
Any suggestion?

if done both and ur engine still vibrates alot at high rpm, its time to invest in full engine blueprint and balancing...

at that time, the engine won't vbrate, but the whole car is....:proud:
 
I m using evo mounting for front & rear only,left & right use ori Mits...but vibrate during low rpm...
until my dashboard screw also loosen...

But i have also changed many time of Mits. mounting since it broken...

Nothing will cover the both...!!!:banghead:
 
can i tumpang ask 1 question ?? wat is engine damper izzit like mounting?? cuz i see alot of engine damper like aerospeed... but duno wat is the function??
 
So izzit every car come with this thing original or just an additional thing
 
go for Solid Teflon engine Mounts.........btw,not suggested to install all with it...just front or the rear of engine only...

mayb he shld get a real "Genuine/Original" mounting...

Replaced with genuine mounting all this while

Someone advised me no point going for engine damper
As it might leak oil sooner since my ride is a NA FI ride hence its original arent design for FI use
Unless i get alternative for ex. Evo engine damper and custom it onto my ride

TEFLON mounting on a daily ride..?? Sorry, I don;t sugest that... Don;t really like the vibrations... Even with Evo's mounting on the bottom front and rear, I already feeling the car vibration increases...

Replaced with genuine mounting all this while

There are alot of BOTers having cars with 200++ ponnies out there. They are not using a damper... I suggest u to go for Evo's front and rear mounting and maintain the sides with Mitsu's/Proton's... So far worked quite well for me...

Feels the gear shift response too...
 
i use 4 evo mounting in my GSR + engine damper. for the beginning u will rasa the vibration very uncomfortable laa..but when dah biasa, is ok
