my car used evo3 brake system.. plan to change 5 hole. which one is more cheaper.. either
1. use gto brake.. (need to change drive shaft or not?)
2. send my current brake to machine shop

or have other ways..
thax

take off ur disc, and mod any 5 holes on dat at any machine shop, re-insert the tyre screw and u r done

if u wanna upgrade ur braking system as well, change to gto brake disc...

if u jz wanna upgrade to 5 lug wheels, send ur hub to machine shop...

Would it be easy to do so? Any advantages of changing from 4 to 5?:adore:

ermm..for front nuckel i tink ur buy an original gto hub 5 nuckel.reason for prevent unbalance wheels when ur speeding.:driver:

lol...a wira wit a vr4 o evo twin pot will do...so juz go machine shop make 5 lug....the onli diff is most japan rims comes in 5 hole 114.3 pcd

mostly rim choices only... performance difference is barely noticeable... main reason why higher horsepower car has more wheel lug nut is due to durability... more lugs able to hold/withstand higher torque strain from hub to wheel...

Thanks for the information bro. I notice that mostly japanese cars now 5 lugs, left kcars with 4 lugs. 114.3 would be more popular or 100?:hmmmm:

mind me fer bumping this old topic.....

currently i'm using evo3 disc/knuckle/caliper front and back.

If i were to change to fto/gto disc brake system/knuckle/disc/caliper, would it be a plug n play modification? what about the mount fer the calipers?

what about the oem e3 driveshaft? plug n play wif gto/fto knuckles? Please advise. Thanks.

i think u need to change the whole lower arm+knuckle+cv joint mix n match with stock driveshaft...
but not really sure..never done and never saw it before... :adore:

wat if i'm currently using evo3 knucles 4 holes pcd114 front n back.....would it be pnp for fto@gto brakes? i really wanna convert this a.s.a.p as i wanna use 8jj-9jj rims

if not mistaken... FTO knuckle is a direct plug n play...
saw my mech did for a satria.... perhaps u should go n confirm wif ur mech....

i've considered all that, gonna have wide fenders, just need to confirm if fto/gto knucles are pnp to evo's (1-3)
