Hello guys,

Okay, here's a challenge for all you guys....

1. If you have EVER seen a R32 GTR (must be authentic) for sale in Malaysia, please put down the asking price.

(when)___(price)

2. If you have ever heard of a R32 GTR being sold in Malaysia, please put down the transacted price.

I'll start:

1. In 2003, RM110,000 asked
In 2003, RM90,000 asked (only bodyshell and some parts)

2. In 2003, RM110,000 transacted

Is the car still stock? Rm110,000 for R32GTR??? THat's a lot of money.

Supply and demand I think, just like how Porsche 964s and 993s are more expensive than 996s here in UK, despite being much older...

R32GTR comes with a price. Tho its old and less advanced than the R34's, they are more of like collectors item.

Very true and added to that if the price were any cheaper, everyone in town would be driving one. And we'll get a whole lot of R32 GTRs as taxis too!!! There goes the legend...

1990 110k for a R32 GTR is a lot of money ??

then what you should call those AE86 owner paying 45k for they year 84, 85 AE86 ?

My uncle is still driving is 993 Carrera from the day he bought brand new
and mileage i think less than 15k km

i wondering why he keep the car so long till today
and now i only know it

It the 32GTR has genuine mileage and mint condition then it should price around that range. But anyone who has that cash in hand (no loan available) would have put a down payment for a 34GTR. At least he has something that is more newer and advance ride to keep for the next 5 years. Just my 2cents comments..

Well, the other argument is that being so rare in Msia, and also the true gojira legend, an R32 GTR won't depreciate much as long as it is well-cared for.

With an R34 GTR, if you buy it with financing, you will have to serve interest for several years, all the while the car depreciates. I still remember around 3-4 years ago, R33 GTR was RM150k, R34 GTR was RM280k minimum. Now I've seen people ask for RM180k for their R34 GTR.

True.. what about 1990-91 NSX that is still sell roughly 140k-150k now.. hehe

Need cash for an R32GTR / NSX though. Even if 100k or so is doable, do you really want your cash tied up in something so old? Especially in current times when the cash can be put to better use?

Answer is yes. :banghead:

In KK, there is 1 R33GTR complete standard selling at RM80K. Just for comparison purpose only.

Is it even possible to lay your hands on a well maintain R32?
I remember a few months back, there was a fairly good condition R32 for sale on Motor Trader.
It was selling around the region of RM8x,xxx. No loan from any banks and only cash buyer preferred.
I guess, for collectors, maybe it's worth it.
For petrol heads, they might get something newer?

Is that a R32 GTR? If so, that is a good price.

reintel, R33 GTR in KK for 80k? Are you sure? Original GTR? Registered OTR (on-the-road) price?

In the UK, NSXs are minimum £12,000... so not surprised still RM140k+ in Msia. Very good for a 16 year old car!

Yes. R32 GTR.

For the NSX, consider that it has an aluminum chassis and monocoque frame (IIRC), it's well worth buying it. They dont call it an "Asian Ferrari" for nothing. :D :D

Gobiz,
Its true R33GTR Blue. Opening price RM80K. I bought my ER34 at the same place. Way below RM100K due to their mistake and bank mistake. Long story but thats my gain.

Condition not sure. It was my 1st option but due to limited cash, and fantastic human error of the year, i got myself a 34. hehehe.....

One thing I really regret was not buying Johnyblze's R32GTR when he was letting it go for very very cheap. I needed to maintain a certain level of cash reserve cause of my new house and some pending investment opportunities.

Looking back a part of me regrets not buying it yet I'm thankful I did not indulge. Although the R32GTR was worth the money, I knew it would never ever end at that. It would have started another round of modifying and I had spent what I considered to be more than enough on cars for the year especially since I've never financed any of the cars so was time for better use of finances.http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/members/johnyblze.html

Wow! Amazing price considering I bought and sold mine at RM150+k 4 years ago.

If I was in Msia, I'd probably go check it out hehehe. Of course, need to check:
1. Ori. gtr - cross check engine and chassis numbers
2. No chassis damage - gotta check undersides etc.
3. JPJ registration and AP - just in case, otherwise Kastam might seize the car.

If all okay, worth the cash...it's a lot of car for the money.

Gobiz,
I saw the car with original shiny puspakom sticker and they did show me the AP letter. But din check the rest. I'm not sure the car history.

Is this Labuan car?Would say it`s cheap for Borneo side.AP price is lot cheaper compare Peninsular
