change your extractor.......it may help to increase your throttle response.....

maybe it's just the tuning.
my fren's car also very bad response and no top speed.
his engine misfiring and tuning lari..

so he went for ecu tuning @ proton.
after that everything ok.. sedapp..

HI OOI,

its not advisable to change it if its new...worry it might void yr warranty for the 5years.
and if u decided to change it, keep the cat converter coz it can be sell at high price.....exhaust shop usually will say no use la..throw away la but in actual fact....very pricey.

u can up the throttle response by adjusting to a few items...but not convenient to share here..its for you to find out at service centre....i mean proton svc ctr....cheerz

agree with this... i did mentioned to proton engineers about bad throttle response on campro engines... they said due to drive-by-wire system, they set the throttle response a little bit slow at initial point but gain rapidly as u step on the throttle... in other words, its not a linear graph... not sure why they do this, perhaps wants owners feel the power surge when they full throttle... hahaha...

i think ever sc got the tool.try ask them first.if u still not satify with
the throttle plate reaction compare to ur foot,install pivot 3 drive.

mostly new car nowadays come with drive by wire.u r not alone....hehehehe
