hello guys,
i bought sony xplod XS-GTF6935B last week to replace the rear stock speaker. the sound kind of nice compared to the old one. i am planning to buy a COMPONENT SET to fit into door panel and NOT PLANNING ON ADDING SUBWOOFER. usually in the ads the component set would come with a pair of cross-overs (i dont know what cross-overs are for, someone care to explain briefly?). ASSUMING i already bought a component set:-
1) is it advisable that i buy an amp? if so, what channeled amp should it be as my rear speaker is 3-way and assuming most probably my component set is also 3-way? what if the component set is 2-way or 4-way?
2) if i need an amp, do i need a pre amp? usually cars with woofers should have amps but im not planning to add woofers.
bright ideas and advices are warmly appreciated
regards
