The new Volkswagen Golf GTI MK6 is bloody pretty man!
What do you guys think about the car? Worth it or not?

Thats true,but to me, nothing beats the original mk1.. 1.8 in such small body..modern car tends to grow fat nowadays..sigh..

don't think that was the determining factor during R&D, however but due to safety stds being raised the car eventually became bigger and to match bigger HP.....

Test Drove the Car. Still the same amazing car as the Mk5. Test drove both the S'co and GTi. Hands down Mk6 is way better and much much much more fun to drive.

The VW Golf GTi MK5 already a superb hot ride to drive & I've been dreaming of it everyday & nite. I was informed by my best friend who's a hardcore VW fan that the Golf GTi MK6 retailing @ RM225K. He's currently considering to book a brand new unit from Veemer & the best friend of mine is one crazy VW freak.

Why I said so? It's becoz he currently owns a Golf GTi MK5 with original Caractere bodykit+19" Caractere wheels, an ABT tuned Toureg, Polo GTi & Passat CC. So envy him! :(

I recently sold my MK5 Wald with full caractere kit, had it for 4 yrs and clocked only 34,000 kms, and just took delivery of the MK6. They are both good cars but I think the MK6 is more refined and better built. Just sent in to install Caractere kit...will post pictures when its ready...

The Golf R isnt available here in msia officially yet, but you can order from grey importers like Veemer in Jln University, the last i rememebr it was about rm285k
