kalau asyik bawa hilux memang tahun depan laa baru DC5 habis running in
indeed, kuala kelawang is superb to drive..it is also where my mounting pecah for the 2nd time. .![]()

So, that means Tein monoflex top mount can allow more camber adjustment compared to Tein flex which i'm using right now. My next absorber change must get mono-flex then if budget permits
Back in my proton days one of our ride/handling route was Genting. It's a good touge route i would say. The other handling route were Hulu langat/semenyih, karak highway and bukit tinggi. You can try them also and by luck you'll see camouflaged proton prototype car
All those route a satria neo 1.6 can perform outstandingly handlingwise but not powerwise![]()
A long rear overhang car like our dc5 is a bit difficult but you can fine tune the suspension/brakes and engine to beat lotus. Hopefully you'll succeed beating the lotus cars.

not an easy car to drive fast in hilly areas, requires lots of practice.

hahaha....running in left like 1.5k only....im just slowing down while waiting for some goodies!!!
anyway hilux punya road handling syiok giler....but no power....![]()

I thought Hilux likes cucuk fast cars along the highway?![]()
Faruk, is Tein 'Super Street' = Tein flex? Yes the upper mount allows camber degree to be set to -3 without adjustment to the tie rods.
Yes, i've been at the Hulu langat - Semenyih - jelebu roads with the lotus team.very challenging winding roads as well. I see, soo there where they do the experiments alright.....
I bet the Neo has a balanced chasis and built specifically for those kind of roads. Have to try and drive a neo and test it out.
The longer rear overhang gives a "Scary" feel when descending 5% downwards and apply late braking. Almost had a near miss incident on thisnot an easy car to drive fast in hilly areas, requires lots of practice.
I heard that bukit tinggi roads are far better and wider than genting's is it true? Since u are a driver trainer before in lotus i bet u can beat Lotuses at genting roads. Share the techniques bro!![]()

Tein flex is higher category than tein superstreet. After flex then monoflex then super racing. The tein N1 i'm not sure lies where. Anybody knows?
Sometimes the rear overhang is good in some tight corners where it will be an advantage to make the car easier to rear yaw (oversteer). Thats why lotus cars are good in this situation cause it's easier to oversteer using engine power.
I'm not sure bukit tinggi is better compared to genting, but last time we prefer genting over bukit tinggi. I'd experienced a downhill accident at bukit tinggi when testing a Juara van and the van terbalik coz we put a thule box on top of the roof. Luckily no one was hurt. But the Thule box was rejected on the Juara.
Correction, I'm a driver trainer at Proton H&T/R&D, not lotuslah. Lotus different division. And i haven't tried lotus on public road. Last time my department have 1 lotus elise for driver training, so my experience driving a lotus just in the proton test track. Nice car to drive but overall i prefer DC5![]()

NOt much choice for DC5's range of dampers. Plus the prices are damn expensive. I see, Tein flex is considered a new model also right?
Any hints of any new performance cars produced by Proton in the future?
I see, just that lotus are more nimble and balance on road, but on track DC5 has more potential and advantage.
MR. WAFS, any recommendation/guide to setup Satria Neo? :)
