How to define B18CR 4.4 final drive gearbox? Any number?

Hi sifus,

Just want to know is there a way to see whether the gearbox is B18CR LSD 4.4 final drive? Any gearbox number to indicate? Please advice.

And also if EG 2 doors using B18CR engine, heard it's better to use 4.4 final drive compare to 4.75 final drive as EG body is light in SIC track. Is it true?

there is no real way from knowing unless opening up the tranny and count teeth. the reason i s considering the engine already too old not sure got ppl kacuk here n there or not. b18c < 98year is 4.4FD

My friend said if 67 teeth is 4.7 final drive & if 64 teeth is 4.4 final drive. izzit true?

When on 5th gear around 110km, the RPM in EG white meter shows 4000 rpm, so is this final drive consider 4.785? :hmmmm:

yea ive been told it will be that 4100rpm at that speed. so ill guess its 4.785FD which exceptionally good for touge genting up down...;p
