'(00) drives Chapman's Proton: The Satria Neo Lotus Racing Edition

Well... not like the limited edition S20X subarus, which are like 555 units worldwide, hold their prices up high. Its still just another Impreza, like this is just another Satria Neo.

Price will definately drop. But the people who are buying these cars are probably really wealthy people buying it just to support the scene lah. Or people with connections to Proton/R3.

Btw. In the video, the part showing the engine RPMs and meter cluster... the doors are open.

...for value of RM115k I prefer to buy used Elise rather than this Neo :driver:

Again, this car is not for people who has RM115k or is looking for a 'value buy'.

:)

RM115k, wat so worth???/...this money can buy lot of powerful performance car....useless proton car.....

really nice writing..full of info..double thumbs up...n keep up the good work..

bout the car, the price is just staggering considering the fact that it is still a proton neo CPS. If they could just remake the interior- recaro seats, alcantara, stering wheel, it would be alot better.
And also if the could just extract a bit more power from the engine, it would defenitly be a big hit!..
Anyways, its a start from Proton..:party::party:

the car looks like after market accessories shop product, not like from a real auto manufacturer..i want to see some real engineering not some cut a paste job..performance a sham considering using the 'Lotus' branding even worse relates to the F1 team..not good enough proton infact a very poor try..want to be world class, start coming out with 'real' cars..!!

maybe proton should start consider a RWD car for drifting purpose. that might be interesting..

wow... over price for a malysian made car..... rather go for others.... ;)

RS is right because personally I think Malaysian should enjoy price benefits over local production car, if not why should we produce car? For instance, FD2R is selling about RM100,000 in Japan, if our Neo lotus have about the same quality and performance, then RM115K is consider OK.

Indeed no doubt this piece of Neo is one of nice looking hatchs but in my opinion any EK with B16B can outrun this Neo under 50K
