the Si edition will likely not be brought in officially by Honda malaysia but do expect the japan civic Si model be shipped from parallel importers like naza, etc

Doubt we'll get this version. In fact, its very unlikely that NAZA would bring in this car considering its a left hand drive unit.

Just hope for the face lift version to be launched like 2 or 3 years time. Thats about the time where Honda normally launch one final model of the range before launching a brand new Civic.

The Si is a different car from the Type R. Don't be mistaken.

If you read this months Autocar, you will see a scoop on the new Type R. Coincidently, the specs reported in Autocar is also 198 HP, 8000 RPM redline and 195Nm.
