takkan la never rev??? hehehe wen i use 2 use auto last tme oso rev until 6500rpm, hehehehee.. no problem oso. nw using manual, lagi best. bt shift wen 6000rpm....after tat lembab ody..
errr,... anybdy knws wat is d optimum diameter 4 d exhaust piping??? d 1 tat runs under our car?? thinking of changing lerr.... top speed so slow in reacing,.. 120 onwards .... damn slow...

but der no harm trying once in a while...hehehheee... ders no way ur GB wil rosak jst after abit of acceleration..hehehhee.. jst dnt shift wrongly,like speedo 140kmph, den dwnshift 2 D2....tat mayb la.

ive change my gearbox twice bcoz i like to rev my car kao kao... egegege.. but dun worry.. just dont rev it all the time...ur gearbox sure ok..

abt the piping diameter...
has been discussed b4...
1.8" inner diameter...
which means u go to any exhaust shop n ask for 2" piping la...
coz their 2" is normally outter diameter...
meaning inner diameter will b around 1.8" lo.....

i changed mine quite some time ago.....
i'd say can feel more on high rev....
paid RM190 for the piping following ori route...
its a ready made one la...marco brand wif center bullet....
ended up change style....
cut half of the 2" piping before fuel tank.....
n join wif 2.1" piping under fuel tank + thermal wrap....
cost me around RM200...

i feel doing under fuel tank wif thermal wrap looks chun la....
but then its for wira lo....

change the exhaust box to more bling bling one.....

no doubt our 91 doesnt scream as nice as vtec n mivec la.....
but then if change to open pod the sound will b a bit nicer lo....
if not then take out the shorkel from the stock air box....
when u floor oso have better sound la....
coz i using drop in now.....
actually connect the air box to CAI hose....
but then end up kene flood....water suck all the way into engine....
now litterally "blowing" wind into my intake oni.....
safer tis way....heehee

if not mistaken...u read it somewhere in this thread....they say 2" outer, 1.8" inner diameter...dats d best fer our engine...
i dunno whether it suits auto or not...huuuuu...m using 1.7" kalo tak silap...

performance wise...
like i said....low rev/normal drive not much feelin la....
i somehow feels more sluggish....
but then on high rev then u'll know la....
wahahahaaha......
change to better flow muffler oso will help.....

FC wise i dun really remember la....
coz changing the piping is one of my 1st mod....
edi forgot abt the figures....but then if not wrong...not much difference.....
now edi din calculate my FC lo.....
coz can claim....wahahahaha

hehhee...looks like majority wins.. 1.7-1.8 looks lke d perfered choice... if can improve top end,i will b satisfied..hehehheee..... cnnt tahan ody,top end so slow in reaching,... played wit a mivec tat day,think he let me pass 1st, den chase me frm d bck..150kmph, so him closing me dwn like i was standing still ...damn.... bt tat time i also slow dwn due 2 traffic...bt still.....

4G91 Carb originally dont have plug cover, that's y the Mitsubishi wording is on the valve cover.
