Story like this evo2 4G63 in Putra done puspakom and the car card oledi change and chop&sign now is my road tax still 1834cc for 4 more months b4 expired. The runner told me that the 'jpj' ppl ask me finish using this(1834cc) road tax until need renew?? So is this 'legal'? since my roadtax previous 1834, new engine +registration/inspection done is 1997? SO curios about this Question. Thank you.

I'd advised you to do it yourself, send back the current roadtax to JPJ and they will cancel it. They will ask U to fill the refund form and renew the roadtax for 2litre engine (RM400 per year). U will get your money bank into your account from JPJ within 21 working days. I've done it b4..

happy boosting..

Thank you for the info! So after i cancel it just apoply the NEw 2000cc 1? Need how many 'working days' usually?

did my conversion myself at padang jawa JPJ and quite simple. after puspakom inspection, in order for reg. card to be endorsed, u must hand over ur current road tax to JPJ. Thay will endorse reg card and ask u to top up difference in road tax. Mine also had abt 4 months balance. mine had to top up abt RM60 (1.5 to 1.8) the counter will issue u new road tax with new cc on the spot. i think u better check with JPJ if ur conversion is registered in computer. funny that runner didnt give new road tax to you....because illegal to drive with old road tax oredi...
