accelaration problem

dear all sifus..

1)sometimes when i'm accelerating my car i feel like the car is going slowly (like something pull back behind) then suddenly the car goes back to normal and accelerates fast... why this happen??

2)my engine is consuming engine oil now....so what is the diff if i'm using 15w/40 mineral and 10w/40 semi syn??

Tq all sifus in advanced....

i would go with wat the factory suggested oil. old oil does play lots of difference at least for me i can feel them

1. a. Maybe your intake it more than output. May I know what is the modification that u had been done, such like air filter, extractor, piping how many inch, etc etc....
b. If your car is Turbo, or Supercharge. This will happen when using the lousy clutch plate, which mean not suit for turbo car usage.

2. What engine?
a. 4AGE, 4E recomended using the 10w50 or 15w50. These I tested with the Oil Press, Oil Temp, and Water Temp, and seem that 4AGE very suit with 10w50 or 15w50.
b. 3SGTE recomended using the 10W50, 15W50 and 10W60.
c. If normal engine, 4AFE, 7AFE, 2E and etc etc... much recomended for 15W50 and 20W50 lor....

Note: the 10W,15W, 20W is actualy is the measurement about the "kelikatan" when it at extreamly HOT
The behind 40, 50, 60 digit is the measuremend for ketahanan haba... 40 is only 80-110 celcius... 50 is 110-140 celcius, and 60 is 140 celcius and above... Mean the more at the behind the more the heat can be stand.

I'm driving SEG with 4age svt, light modi with intake simota open pod filter and 2" piping straight flow muffler (5" tail pipe)

Intake Simota and 2" Piping... I don't think got problem....
what clutch u using?

If you for better respone and power torque... I suggest you go to do engine balancing...
 
U may have an out-setting TPS.
Some mech like to adj the TPS in order to compensate the idling problem of SVT that was actually due to dirty ITB and clogging ISCV.
 
levin818 - just curios...ISCV valve is the one with two screws and yelloswish palstic cover right...??? how to clean it...can DIY aaa ???

dun la point to service manual..i got one..also dun really understand...
