Any Solution For MIVEC Engine?!?!

im own a proton satria with an MIVEC 4G92 engine, these few days....i found tht my MIVEC valve does not functioning...normally it will open @RPM5500, but now seems like stop working...anybody can tell me why? is that any realated to the car battery?becoz few days back my fren had wrong positioning the jam cable cause the battery sparks..any solution?

check the wirings.. maybe something is fried n can't send the signal for mivec to engage
