Bad Accident at Jln Damasara

Somehow this might sound funny to some but looking at the accident the impact speed doesnt seem fast. But being that the barrier a pointy objects makes it like a spear and hence penetrate through the door.

I guess deformable accordian barriers, side impact bars, curtain airbags, side airbags, roll cages and whats nots could reduce the impact of the accident but its the responsibilty that lies behind the driver that ultimately determines the outcome.
