Brembo Disc Rotor

hi guys..brembo caliper got repair kit or not ?? if one of the caliper pot got problem how to repair ?? just wondering...hehee

last time my mechanic fren said one of the caliper port already stuck..means only 3 port still function..that cause the stearing vibrate when braking eventhough after skim the rotor...i`m not sure bout that..just heard from a fren..

Ego,
I have the same problem like you. the stearing vibrate when braking, but it only happen when i press the brake (not jam brake or Hard braking) when cruising 130kmh & above.:Not_Impressed:
If u able to slove your problem, please update me also...hehe..
Will u heard some sound from the brake there after u stop & start to move slowly?

sort of...the noise can be heard when u drive beside wall @ flyover @ watsoever in slow speed if the noise came from drivers side...sound like when u insert a piece of paper into spinning fan , slightly very small sound :Not_Impressed:

coz my mechanic fren said when changing new brake pads few months ago, one of the caliper port stuck...it move when he push it...not sure bout that but thats the info...so thats why im asking about brembo repair kit....

my idea...try to skim one of the rotor (either right or left which side that have problem) to confirm its comes from the rotor or the caliper itself...others have to ask the experts :phone:

hmmm... interesting.... is there a brembo repair kit?...

i skim both front original rotor. just right after skim it very smooth, no vibrate even brake on 200km/h, but after 2 month is started vibrate again when some time i brake around 140-150kkm/h, but not every time.

ego, i have the sound like you b4 after i change my rotor. it cause by the metal sheet behind the front rotor touched the rotor...when moving, will heard the shound "shin shin shin shin" expecailly when there is a wall or solid object next to the car to bounce back the sound. My mechanic just help me to adjust the metal sheet, after that no sound but still vibrate.

Cyilaw, I have my all 4 rotor skimed, but still have the same problem, my mechanic mention if bend on the rotor it will vibrate also even if brake from 80kmh..:Not_Impressed:....my case worst, every time brake from high speed.

Any others member have this problem b4??

i had the same problem until i changed my rotors to better ones..hehe.

vibrating under braking can cause by the hub as well,so check it too

my fren evo 7 disc warped when he bought it,send disc to skim.after 1 month same problem, then fed up buy new project u disc and endless high temp pad.after 1 month same problem again.the mech decide to dismantle the caliper to check, then found one of the piston stuck.so serviced it and skim the disc again.now after few months no problem yet

lan evo,
hooo...interesting...where to service the caliper ?? my mechanic fren dont dare to dismantle the caliper if there`s no repair kit...do tell me if have any lubang

or should go for after market one, the rotor & high temp. pad....no moneyyy aaahhh

btw, how much the rotor if buy after market one ??

hmm, then next step i should service my caliper first & also check the Hub.
Is it really need the brembo repair kit when service the brembo?

lan evo, when your fren service the brembo, did he use the brembo kit or just normal service only?
