Buying stuff from ebay, will there be any tax?

So if the adress is our own home address, the courier would charge us for the service which would include the tax payment, all in? Did I get that right? If we want to pick the items ourselves, what address should we use, the customs? KLIA? Man I'm confused.

normally if the international seller use UPS/Fedex etc to ship ur item, you will receive a call from their local representative regarding the amount of tax to pay before they deliver to you or you pick it up at their center.

for USPS(if not mistaken), you will receive call from kastam malaysia and collect at specific pos office(kastam department)
