Car geting jerk on 1st gear

drive a Saga 2008.

The clutch pedal has being quite stiff since then and when i change the gear to reserve after the 1st gear i hear a screathing noise.

Is this because of a bad clutch? Will running on a bad clutch affect my gear box?

Sound like your pressure plate problem. Clutch should be light unless is those heavy duty ones for track.

or could be a combination of multiple issues. Pressure plate (clutch) and the clutch pump no oil?

Is it hard to masuk gear?
