I got a call from this workshop boss 2 days ago, the place where I did my car repairing, the last accident. The last accident was like 4 months ago.

He said that, JPJ ask me to bring the car for inspection, to ascertain whether the car is in good condition or not. I believe they have records of how many times you met into accidents, with pictures as well. (I'm not too sure).

Now the problem is, this boss will call me tomorrow.

I now suspect something fishy going on.

- Why did he called me after 4 months for this, why not earlier?

He also said that, if I don't bring the car for inspection, i will require to write a letter to them JPJ. My car is 100% legal modifications, but I sense something is not right, so I don't want to go.

Is there such thing? Need experts here.

I can just ignore this, but will I be able to renew the road tax next year?

Something fishy....

ok brother.....

ur car met accident before right? so which part of ur car damaged n wat the workshop hv done to ur car?

i believed ur car hv changed some body panel, which the workshop required to get an approval from JPJ beofre they can change the panel...

Once the letter if approved by JPJ, the workshop may start do their job and Puspakom Inspection is required after ur car is DONE by the workshop to ensure that ur car is safe to drive in the road....

but all these hv to be DONE before u collect your car at workshop....

now after 4months n the boss ask u for inspection, may i know wat kind of inspection? if the JPJ required the workshop to inspect the car, it is mostly due to ur car accident only..maybe the workshop forget to inspect ur car last time...

my 2 cent

* JPJ Inspection or PUSPAKOM?
