Civic 2.0 alarm system

ppl,

just got my civic 2.0....currently have some problem with the car alarm. I noticed that after i parked and turn on the car alarm, as soon as a car comes and park next to my car, my car alarm will go off. is there some proximity sensor built into the car alarm? it is a little annoying especially in malls. i never know when it will go off.

any input from anyone?

go to HSC la to rectify ur probs...

might be the sensitivity of your alarm vibration sensor, too sensitive.

go to HSC to had them adjusted.

IC. but i tried turning on the alarm and shake the car from the outside but the alarm wont go off. only notice that the alarm goes off when i car parks next to mine. duH????? cannot understand
