so the 3rd place winner can't even recover entry costs while the 2nd placed winner only gets RM 100, which probably won't even cover the petrol costs.

best of all, the top voted model gets RM 1,000 cash.

First of all, we are sorry if we have created a misunderstanding.

This time attack (yes, it is a time attack!) is intended to be a platform for automotive enthusiasts to come together and enjoy a more balanced track day while meeting different people with the same interests.

We hope you understand that the prize money given is not to fully cover your costs but instead, works as a bonus to motivate our participants and also to give something back when you hit the podium, at least something.

The reason why we have decided on the prize money for the models is to bring out the full potential of the models, to be able to really get the models to do their best!

Furthermore, we decided to bring in the model search to spice up the event and also to be able to include visitors participation in the event by voting their top favourite models.

With all these, we hope that we have clarified where we are coming from. It would be great if you are still interested in joining this event! :)

Track Attack Mechanics:
Line-up: Pit Exit. Each car will be released every 10-15 seconds.

1st Heat – 1 warm up lap, 4 hot Laps, 1 cool down lap.

2nd Heat – 1 warm up lap, 4 hot Laps, 1 cool down lap.

Best lap times will be taken off the hot laps.

Categories:
Supercars (Horses, Bulls, Frogs, etc.)
Track Class (Pure race machines)
VTEC Type-Road (Road legal cars (VTEC), full interior, nothing stripped out with road tires only)
VTEC Type-Race (Open VTEC category, roll-cages, back seat removals are allowed, semi-slick tires only)
N/A FF (Engine displacement limit 2,000cc and below)
Turbo 4WD
FF Turbo Open (Turbocharged engines, FF cars only)
FR Open (Turbocharged or naturally aspirated engines, FR cars only)
Euro Cup (VW, Renault, Audi, etc.)

*Cars with welded on roll-cages will automatically be transferred to Track Class
*Road tires & semi-slick tires are allowed for all classes unless stated otherwise.
*Categories are subject to change under the discretion of the CTA committee. All decisions made by the committee are final.

Due to the feedback from majority of the participants, the Time Attack mechanics has been revised and is more flexible now!

You will now get 25 minutes per heat (2 heats) to set your timing right!
Best lap times will be taken off the entire 25 minutes.

You are advised to use the time efficiently and accordingly. More will be explained during the drivers briefing. See you there!
