EK9 brake rotor size

i think theres more to it than just having monster brakes and calipers.

1. what master brake cylinder size are you using? AP Racing Master Cylinder?...etc

2. what brake fluid are you using? Dot 4?....etc

3. are you using any adjustable hydraulic brake proportioning valves to support this upgrade? Tilton?...etc

Tyres do play an important role when it comes to braking. So overall its quite subjective when it comes to best braking performance combination.

Hi.. can i know wat is item no3? cause i think i miss out this during my upgrade months ago...
n.. wanted 2 share, 15" will able to fit max disc size of 313mm(for my case), but depends on wat 4-pot caliper u r using,
my setup as below:~
4pot+~313mm mugen+steel braided+dc2r master pump/cylinder+dunno brand wat pads+CE28N 15x7off+28+RE01R.

the onli cons on tis upgrade is tat, it really worn out all the joint n bushes real fast..

dream,
for a start maybe you might want to consider using super-pro bushes. as for your query, these valves have been specially designed for use in competition vehicles (u can see both jdm and usdm) where it is desired to reduce the hydraulic line pressure and therefore braking effort to (usually) the rear brakes to compensate for varying track conditions or vehicle handling. some competition, not in malaysia lar, must follow a certain regulation in its class whereby u need to use drum brakes. so for easier swap, the hydraulic valves do help to relief the pressure. so im not sure what sort of racing you are doing? drag? track? autocross? only you as the driver and your driving style would know how to apply the brakes and its usability. you can buy brands like AP Racing, Wilwood. Tilton and etc.
