Had an extremely exciting email last night.

I might be in a position to buy a 1994 R32 with RIPS Rb30 bottom end, car was originally built by DUKE in Japan but rebuilt with rb30 at ABBEY in UK!!!!!
Damn I'm shaking writing this!

Complete with all supporting mods!

Well the owner hasn't confirmed that he's selling it and hasn't even mentioned a price.

It started in a separate discussion when he said he had a 'special' gtr, and I said I was looking and he said 'wanna buy mine'?

I asked for specs and nearly fainted when I read his email

At the moment, running hks 2835s, F-con V pro 3.1, 1000cc inj, Duke 1-3 gearset, project mu discs and the works. 585 at the hubs = 660 at the flywheel.... limited by single fuel pump but he's installing a bigger fuel system!

I'm still waiting for a further reply and phone no.... please pray for me guys!!!!

Just to update, I've received right of first refusal from the owner.

He is going to send me more info. and pictures.

However, no decision on pricing yet. He says he is getting advice first.

He says there's no rush for him to sell, kinda works for me as I've told him I'd prefer to transfer ownership near the end of the year.

Pray for me guys.... for RIPS rb30 gojira to land in Malaysia!

Actually it's just a RIPS RB30 bottom end. It has different internals eg. Wossner pistons and built by Abbey Motorsports in UK.

So cannot say true RIPS RB30 anyway....plus RIPS usually uses Link ECUs.

Heard about the 2 orders for big power RIPS RB30s from Msia anyway.

But if this deal goes through, it will probably land in Malaysia after August 2010 anyway... so most likely won't be the 1st RIPS RB30 in Msia.
