Exora Bold CFE vs Chery Eastar

Guyz...i'm thinking of getting this car to add to my collection...my budget is around 80k. Nevertheless i's still cannot decide between this two...any comment n suggestion?

Exora bold of course.. Worlds apart from the Eastar. The Chinese car is not a bad car at all, but Exora is much better. Test drive both then make your decision.

Another option, Toyota wish yr 2003/2004 second hand cost around 80~90k.
Wish better than the two above... My own opinion..cheers

i'm enough with second hand car..u have to be lucky when u bought second hand car. i've uses almost 7 second hand car...lot of money for maintenance n repair...the bad things is...the things that u cant see n u car breakdown...

just wonderring is the exora bold turbocharged or supercharged? cos my bro in law told me that his fren is working in proton claims that the CFE is supercharged not turbocharged....? so which is it? or he is just another hanracing..haha.....

exora bold for sure, i hv driven the car before, is much powerful than before.
for a used car, anything more than 5 years got to becareful.

for that budget, definitely get the Exora CFE. i see no valid reason for choosing the Chery anymore..

My friend is driving one Chery Eastar...pick up is not that good according
to him. Tekan also wont go much one...FC wise so so only. One good thing
is that the car is kinda tough,

Got once he bang into a perdana's rear bumper cuz it stopped suddenly.
The perdana was dented but not much damage on the Eastar's bumper.

2nd one, some drunkard drove an iswara, ram into his rear bumper as the
driver didnt realised it was red light. Got down, nothing wrong with his rear
bumper also...

I would go for Exora since is turbocharged xD

that friend of your bro in law was so wrong.
it is turboharged, confirmed by my close cousin who works as test engineer in proton shah alam.

Myself also went to proton branch, just to have a look at the engine. turbine is top mounted. intercooler is fitted on the left side of the front bumper. intercooler size looks the same size like OEM 4G93T CB-CD chassis (inverted position, not the same position as the 93T)

CVT cooler can be seen clearly in in front bumper. downside for me is, no stock boost gauge / turbine indicator / whatsoever as far as I can see. doesn't matter low boost or hi boost, from my point of view..boost gauge is important.

and what laughs me most is that...some of the sales exec/sales person/whatsoever, didn't concur when I said that this engine is turbocharged...they stress over and over again that: ini bukan enjin turbo bang..ini enjin CFE..enjin save minyak..
yes I know its a CFE engine, but yet that turbine that sits top mounted says it all! whatever dude...

hahahahaha.......lucky it is u.....if me were at that time, konpem i'll ask on the CFE thing untill that s/p cannot answer anymore......lagi mau kingching.......



for the thread question, i prefer exora since exora road tax cheaper than cherry eastar.....other than that, u need to test it yourself......
