Federal SS595 or 595 Evo???

Have put in SS595 today (235/45/17) and so far so good but have to sacrifice some hp compare to a 225 tire size.

Will keep this post update regularly on the SS595 performance.

did you purposely over sized it?

My ride is a 4G63T 4WD and yes i purposely go for a larger size tire, i am hoping for a better handling as well instead of solely focusing on power....:itsme:

But even though wider at 235, it becomes higher.....

You are welcome.
Overall diameter is larger by 1.4%, speedo reading slower by that amount, provided your 225/45/R17 is original size......

been using 595evo from oct 2010 to june 2011,

good
* better dry handling
* good in wet
* comfort

bad
* a lil bit noisy
* shorter life span
* pricey... heheh

by the way, im using the 205/55/16.

Is the feedback compared to SS595?

i'm not comparing to the ss595, just to tell how i feel using the 595evo... a good tire actually, i have driven it on a very wet road, in cornering condition (LKSA highway, southbound) at speed of 120km/j. not a little sway on the car... heheh

I ask because the way you post the feedback,
better dry handling
a lil bit noisy
shorter life span
seems to have a reference to your earlier tyre used.....:biggrin:

ooo... b4 that i used michelin n falken, their are better then the 595evo (at some point), cause their got a longer life span n much quieter but much more pricey than the 595evo...

i'm using the 595evo for just 8 month.still 40% of thread left.
