i need some help here...which speaker do u think is a better buy....i was quoted rm600 for both sets...below are the specs of each

my advice, listen to both of them and let ur ear decide.

just based on specs id choose the focal as it has higher power handling and has higher sensitivity. focal has a good track record on speakers, jl has made its name making subs. so if we were comparing subs id take JL over focal. however best is to test and see which u like. ive never listened to the JL comps yet, so cant say lah..

Hi, this just base my knowledge only.... Comp with high sensitivity...very good high mid & lack at low mid... Focal V2 can get RM600 ...wooow so cheap... original 1 or immitation 1... Focal can not tahan with Hot & Cold wheather loorrr... I'm using Utopia before RM1300 (mid) pc.. after 1 year ..cone bengkok sana & sini..Ori 1 with serial no. some more from audioactive ... I'm asking the seller why & what happen.. they said not due to water but temp inside the car...sometime hot & suddenly cold..or sometime cold & suddenly hot...

so cheap.... yeah, as oldskolboyz mention, beware of imitation speakers... if it sounds good, then imitation also nevermind la... since its not that expensive. Go listen to more speakers before deciding.

My advice, buy it and ship it yourself from ebay US or where ever the speaker is produced, with the shipping plus the cost of the speakers it comes around the same price as we purchase here in the accessories. Then DIY the speakers your self. Trsut me even then sound not that good but u will be satisfied. hehehe
