Yeah..good point! If its just selling 'water' powered engine, what will happen to the price of waters? Might come to the same as petrol some day. Selling both together is better. Got competitors, petrol n water prices will not hike 'as they like'.
Anyway, any link that show the 'water' powered engine that was mentioned? How did they take care of the safety of handling hydrogen? hm...
The hydrogen is produced on demand and in gas form, so no high pressure storage tanks are needed and the hydrogen is fed directly into the engine.
There are tons of info http://oupower.com/index.php. One of particular interest is Bob Boyce. He ran a 3.0L fuel-injected Ford Taurus on hydrogen alone. And the plans for that electrolyser is put on the web for everyone. I think I still have a copy of that lying around.
