HA (Height-adjustable coilover) is not hard incomparison to other cheaper brands. However, I wouldn't say it's soft. The damping rate is fixed but we can play around with the spring rates to match your driving requirement.

SS (height & damping-adjustable coilover) gives you more control in getting the suitable damping rate, spring rate and height. Pillow ball mount is optional at additional cost.

Your HA kit should come with the two "hooks" for you to do it yourself, no need to spend money on it.
