Hi,

Need advise in finding half cut shop that caters for BMW. Could anybody point out
one for me.

thx.

thx tleilaxu . Where exactly in Mount Austin . Me not really familiar with the places. ;)

mount austin is famous for half cut shops in jb..if u ask me to drive there,i can...but not really sure how to give directions..i can roughly guide u there,
turn in to mount austin,go straight until the first traffic light, turn left...on ur left is austin perdana i think..go straight..keep to ur right..turn right when u can..the shop is on ur right..corner shop!!i think there`s only one shop selling continental stuff there...good luck!

Thats good enough . appreciate the response .
thx.

you can try JB Quality in Mount Austin.

Look for ah bee or alan. tell them Tom reffered for better service

thanks , tom . will do . :)
Anyhow where you all buy original spare part in JB ? My e34 rear end get hit and the strip at the bumper is broken. Looking for new one actually.

hmm.

for bumpers and stuff you could try kek seng.

Head towards kulai from skudai. approach the new tun aminah flyover bridge, keep left, go below the bridge and do a u-turn. keep left and turn left when you see shops at the left. go straight along the shops and kek send will be at the right to the end.

Kek send brings in scraps from singapore where they are are also based there. so expect plenty of E34 and newer series parts like bumpers, panels, interiror stuff like leather seats etc. i'm sure you'll find things you need there.

near the tun aminah flyover bridge. u-turn below it

strips and stuff shouldnt be expensive, a new original could be ordered through singapore or the workshops here.

Manage to find JB quality . Thanks guys for the direction & input . Meet up with alan. Nice chap & very friendly . He has a nice e30 . slruuuuup.

saw an e34 M5-sport rim , et 20 , quite light . The weight stated 650 . Not sure if replica or original . I believe it's replica cause did not state made in italy.
Tom , if you going there , could you please confirm.

Thanks for the kek seng direction . Quite far. Will try to stop over on the way back to KL .

thx guys.

there were 2 versions of the E34 M5 wheels.
they were called the M-system wheel.

they both have cooling vents to vent heat from the brakes.
the first one is ugly and there's nothing to talk about

the second one look like the ninja shuriken 5spoke fin-like design. come only in 17". the whole "ninja" cap is detachable and will expose the inner, black 5 spoke wheel. the cap is directional for the left and right wheel.

i would suggest you buy it if the price and condition is good cos they are ery rare and they look good with or without the caps

tom,

do you hv the phone number of this shop with the rims?

thanks in advance dude

thanks tom.

anybody else who might know the number?

i am in kl and i wanna call the shop to make sure its the item that i want before comin down all the way to jb.

thanks

Feisalz, wish you luck coz once someone knows about E34 M5 wheels, they go fast (if ori)!

feisalz,it's not the e34 M5 rim , but a replica of e39 M5 rim.
sorry for the confusion.
thx.
