head gasket for D16A

Dear all,

is the material for head gasket for a D16A engine using stainless steel or rubber?

recently i open up my bonnet and found some rubbers kind of material at the edge of the engine head, but before that i though the head gasket should be stainless steel, right?

correct me if i'm wrong.

OEM 3-layer headgasket. Middle one is metal sheet, top and bottom are metal with plasticky black coated. Not sure whats the actual material name...
