List of colors:

Grey Connector

- black/white
- red/black
- green/white
- black (thats earth right?)
- blue (connects to some red wire)

Caramel Connector

- yellow/blue (rear left speaker +)
- grey/blue (rear left speaker -)
- blue/white x 2
- black/blue x 2
- red/brown x 2
- white/red x 2
- yellow/red (rear right +)
- grey/red (rear right -)

if anyone can help that would be great.

well let see if i still remember

Grey Connector

- black - negative/ground
- red - positive/ignition
- green - battery
- blue - antenna

Caramel Connector
usually each colour is for each speaker i.e front right, front left, rear right, rear left.
You have to check the manual or try one by one.

solid colour- positive speaker
stripe - negative speaker
e.g. blue- positive speaker, blue stripe - negative speaker.

hope this helps

thanks for the help appleyard!

and im guessing the black/white wire is the dimmer then?

are you 100% sure (or sure enough anyway) that the wire colours are correct on the grey connector? i dont wanna blow anything up

as for the speaker wires, they shouldnt be a problem getting them right, just trail and error.

thanks again.

Frend, the actual wiring is...

Grey Socket
1) Red/Black Stripe - constant 12V +/Battery
2) Blue - 12v + ACC Cable/Ignition
3) Black - Ground cable

4) White/Black stripe- Antenna lead for auto antenna
5) Green - Small light...

Caramel Socket
All cable for speaker cable..

If U change to new HU.. only cable 1 to 3 is use but if U have auto antenna, so U need White/Black Stripe cable.. this cable dont have power/current coz it take pwr/current from HU... before U cut the wire pleased disconnect + terminal at the battery.. if not U will blow the fuse located at Ur feet.. after installation just check Ur clock & room light.. clock & room light still on than U oledi success...

hey oldskolboyz.

yeah obviously i dont need the auto antenna because i dont have one but how about illumination (also called dimmer i think)? i thought you need this?

Frend, sorry just edit my ealier post.. actually not for illumination but for small light.. U can check where the wire goes to..

thanks for clearing that up. so are you 100% those wiring colours are correct?

and what is "small light"? i thought this is illumination otherwise there should be another wire for illumination?

so i'm guessing proton and perodua uses different cable colour code then.

This is because when i replace the OEM HU to aftermarket HU, all the wires with the connector was attached to the HU. So i just connect 3 cables and antenna only. Sorry for wrong info on that.

300% sure coz I own Proton car & always instal/uninstal my HU... I dont border the 2 wire coz is not important to me... as long the 2 wire did not effect my ICE & SQ it produce...

thanks for the help, i really appreciate it.

another thing, do you know why i got so many wires for the speakers? i should only have 8 wires, two wires each for each speaker.

dont forget for front speaker cable should have 2 set each side.. OEM wiring provide indash (4') & door panel (6') at each side.. that why U have extra cable loorrr..
