Help ... BOV spoil ...

Hello all, i am using HKS Sqv, how come suddenly spoil liao ?? now no more the sound. I think the BOV cannot suk the air or something. How come will spoil ?? Can repair ??

The diaphram might be torn or punctured

If its SSQV, you may open up the BOV and see and maybe service.

But if its SQV, it is not servicable

mine is the ssqv. i open the whole thing liao. nothin is torn wor.

Could there be a leak at the vacumn signalling hose?

BOVs do not "spoil".

If the diaphram is not damaged, then there should be a leak somewhere in the system.

oh ya. instead of leak, will it be some hose stuck or not ??

There is no hose inside SSQV.

Check the diaphram and also check the shaft.

Also, check if the shaft is covered with black tar and gunk, clean it with WD40.

get another BOV n test....see ur engine problem or bov problem.....so dun need guess here n guess there
