If he reported and say that u bang him and u didn't report. Than he could have a possibility if he got "witness" to back up his claim.
So if you're afraid; than better go file a report.

report already filed an hour of the accident...the only issue is that he might claim my insurance due to injuries...and that claim is a law in the insurance context...is that true?

don't think so...
check with your insurance....call the general help and tell them the situation and get them to confirm.
