Hi guys,

do u guys know any brand that has 15.5cm speaker... normally
6.5" is around 16.5cm. but i try to put in 6.5" into the original speaker
area, it doesn't fit...

measured the OEM speaker it is 15.5-16cm.... strange size. not too sure
coz i just simple measure and get aroudn that figues.

i think i found wht i need...

coz it's OEM speaker is pioneer, i search in pioneer..
all it got is just 16cm and 17cm speakers.
shoud be the 16cm... coz 17cm is about 6.5" which
cannot get in.

i drive an EK too. your door will be able to fit most 6.5" speakers nicely with the plastic cover still able to clip back to the door. however, the installer will have to cut a little bit of metal and plastic backing from your door because stock speakers are very shallow while better speakers have bigger magnet. as for my car, the installer had to cut 0.5cm from the door and remove the plastic backing on the door.

yeah, i notice that...
it isn't my car... so i don have the permission to cut
anything. will stick to 16cm speakers.

but for the area that restricted the magnet would
defintely has to be cut... in order to put the speaker
in.
